Serban Ionescu, PhD, Professor will speak in the Conference’s plenum about “TRAUMATIZED SOCIETIES, RESILIENT SOCIETIES” and will facilitate the workshop “ECOSYSTEMIC INTERVENTION AFTER COLLECTIVE TRAUMA: PSYCHOLOGICAL AND SOCIAL BONDS RECONSTRUCTION”.
Serban Ionescu is a renowned Psychiatrist and Clinical Psychologist, emeritus professor at Paris 8 Vincennes – Saint-Denis University (France) and Universite du Quebec a Trois-Rivieres (Canada), a correspondent member of the Romanian Medical Sciences Academy, Doctor Honoris Causa.
Prof. Ionescu is a member of the Scientific Council of the Condorcet University Campus (Paris), he is the French responsible for the Tempus project “researching Quality and Quality in Research”, co-director of the project “Resilience assessment” (Algeria, Canada, France, Mongolia, Romania, Ruanda).
Prof. Ionescu lead 70 doctoral and doctor docent theses and now he is the scientific director of 11 doctoral theses. He is also author and co-author of over 230 publications, 27 of which are books, such as “Traite de resilience assistee” (Presses Universitaires de France, 2011), “Psychopathologie de l’adulte. Fondements et perspectives” (Berlin, 2010) and “Methodologie de la recherche en psychologie clinique” (Presses Universitaires de France, 2009).
